You can collect the seed heads and start seeds indoors in early spring, but I let mine self-seed. They can be prolific, and you will have volunteers coming up all over, but it isn't a problem - just pull out the ones you don't want and give them away. They are a wonderful sight up close or from a distance - very showy. Bees love them.
