In numerous tests conducted in the Southeastern United States from 1990-1994, Georgia Green was found to have an approximately 10% higher yield and dollar return than Florunner. It also produced a significantly higher percentage of total sound mature kernels (TSMK). Georgia Green has also shown good resistance to tomato spotted wilt virus, comparable to Southern Runner."
