It should be more hardy then the hybrids so it will be left in the ground. In my zone (about 7b because I live in the south of Netherlands very close to the mountains of Eifel and Ardennes) I can leave the hybrids also in the ground. Untill now all have survived our winters. I 'll keep you informed how it developes.
