They were killed to the ground earlier this year when we had 2 back to back nights of 21oF. They are planted in full sun, It is now the end of July and they have 4 major stalks the shortest of which is 7 feet and the tallest about 9 feet. During the growing season they get several applications of 'black kow' and fish emulsion they also have a drip irrigation line. I anticipate blooms will start to appear by next month. I would recommend this and other angels trumpets to other zone 8 and higher gardeners.
