Again, this plant doesn't flower well in the UK unless the summer is sunny. It survives most winters, but can take a long time to recover if damaged to ground level. Planted by a SW wall near a patio will help it a lot.
It's a wonderful plant, but ---- think, if it was as hardy and wonderful as the traders tell us, why doesn't everyone in the UK grow it???? Eh???

I went to ...Read Moreprune it back this March and discovered another small plant growing in the container. I dug it out, replanted it, and took it outside. It proceeded to wilt so I brought it back in and placed it in a glass with a small amount of water. After it got a bunch of roots on it I replanted it and took it back outside where it is thriving. It is soon to out grow the pot I put it in. As I was watering the mother plant today (6/22/12) I noticed another plant coming up through the soil. When it gets big enough I will pull it out, put it in water, and wait for the roots to form. From one plant I will now have 3.
