Flower moderate pink with small, brilliant yellow center; grainy appearance Petal wide, oval, brown tip, reflexed downward; wide, dark pink band on back; medium texture Size three-and-one-quarter inches in diameter Scent slight lemon scent Stalk greenish-red, hairy, upright, loose flower clusters Keeping quality good Leaves light green with acute tips Plant habit upright, open branching; suitable for landscaping Bearing habit March to October, moderate to heavy flower production Parentage P. rubra f. rubra x P. r. f. acuminata Remarks This cultivar is recommended as a commercial source of lei flowers.
