It's a profuse and reliable bloomer, but the flowers have almost no fragrance and simply are not as visually stunning as one might expect them to be. It is not known to set seed, so don't expect to use it in any breeding program. Bottom line: For dedicated collectors, Candy Stripe is worth having as a nod to tradition (it's an old-timer), but if your space is limited, you'd probably be happier with a showier, more fragrant plant.
What parrot says is true however when you see a full size tree of the Candy Stripe is simply stunning and a show room piece in any garden..
