First one I got I was told it w...Read Moreould burn if I exposed it to sun too quickly, so I kept in mostly shade for 8 months, and then gradually brought it out, and it did fine. THe next one I got, I got lazy and put it out in full blazing hot, mid summer California sun... and it did great, too.. no burn. Seems to grow as fast as the yellow form and is very easy so far.

It lo...Read Moreoks just like a regular golden barrel but the spines are white instead of yellow. I think taking care of it would be similar to the golden variety. Never seen them bloom before. Very pretty.
