My plant was purchased from the Naval Air Station store down in Lemoore, Ca. in 2001. It did not do so well down there due to the heat (100-115 F in the Summer), and the same is true here in Redding, Ca. (100+ F heat) It has a very soft light green stems, and is easily broken, so you may need to tie it off so the wind cannot damage it. I would place it in partial shade to keep the roses a vibrant pink color. The smell will blow you away, it's pungent, and wildly sweet. Bees love this rose! I will be adding pictures of it here once it starts blooming this Summer. I have moved over a dozen times and have kept it in a pot and taken it with me wherever I go. Any rose that can handle that kind of change is decently hardy in my humble opinion.
