Even in Georgia, this one does not do well. It has a very long season 100+ days. Introduced into the US in 1915, this melon may have been listed by the famous French seed house, Vilmorin Andrieux, in the 1880's. Oval fruits, 5 7 lb., have hard skins which turn from pale green to creamy yellow at maturity. Flesh is pale green and incredibly sweet. Plants prefer a warm, dry climate.
