Then I brought it inside to my mostly sunny sunroom where I gave it the prime spot and watched it very carefully. It got many brown spots on the leaves which I removed. Now the tips of the new leaves are browning. I mist it and have it near a humidifier. I would like to know if there is something else I should be doing. I really want to smell those amazing flowers someday!
Coral Jasmine (Nyctanthes arbor-tristis) aka Shiuli or Shefali (Bengali)aka Parijat or Harsinger (Hindi) Xewali (Asamese) Raat-ki-Rani (...Read MoreNight Blooming Jasmine) and other is one of the most beautiful fragrant flower that I remember seeing as a kid (growing up in Bangladesh). But I mostly recall seeing poor kids trying to raise some money for their family selling these Shiuli Fuler Mala (Necklace made out of Shiuli flower) to wealthy people (especially the Love Birds) :D ... I have had a special connection with these flower due to nostalgia from my childhood. I always wanted to grow those but I live in an area not so friendly to these plants (Stone Mountain, GA Zone 7B). I didn't have any success with my previous attempts to germinating seeds, so when I saw a seller in Etsy selling live plants, I jumped on the opportunity (even though they were pricy). Unfortunately, seller grew 3-4 that I purchased in a very small pot and when I separated those to plant in bigger pot, I might have done some root damages. Anyway, looks like 1 or 2 may recover from the dreaded dieback it is going through atm (7/24/2021). I will be happy if I can at least one to go on and produce some flower. I have to plan on bringing it inside before the GA Frost, but will see how things turns out. I will attach some pic of the plants if possible.

But, if there's a possibility that it will come back, then I'm willing to take that risk. Thanks for any feedback you can offer.
I purchased some of the coin sized seed from eBay. I placed the sealed cup back in the propagator and a week later, one has already sprouted (see photo). I've moved that one out to its own pot.
Note that both viable and unviable seeds float. So maybe naturally, rivers, streams, even floods may be used to carry the seed away from the parent shrub to a new location. That would explain why they float, and the root grows down from the fat (heavier side) of the flat seed (see photo).
It's now 10 days since my post above. I put the sprouting seed on top of some potting mix in a small pot, flat with the sprouting root pointing down. The root pulled its side of the seed down and the opposite end is now at 90° in the air and has split revealing a large pair of leaves. So best press the seed on top of the soil fat face down, rather than planting it under the soil - if you plant this seed under the ground, you might end up killing the seedling, as it will take to much of its stored energy to move the soil before to get the large seed casing up vertically.

The flowers open at night and drop in the morning when the sun hits them. There is a beautiful legend that tells why the flowers drop in the morning sun. They have a honey-jasmine scent similar to cestrum nocturnum but not quite as strong. I grow it in a pot with well drained soil. I water it when it is dry and fertilize once a month. Mine has not made seeds yet. I haven't had much success with rooting cuttings but am still trying lol.
