Stand in sharp sand/soil mix and prop up, as it will need support until root growth is established. Keep well watered.
Seems to like a humid atmosphere and manages the odd drought, so holiday breaks in watering are no problem.
A little vicious as it has spines, just handle with care.
Has taken 7 years to make 3' from 2" start so slow growing.
Unusual to look at and lovely green colour all year round.
