I have seen some nurseries say that Maori Chief is the same cultivar as Rainbow Chief. This could be true for at times I have seen ones ...Read Morethat look so similar but I have also seen ones with the same name that are quite different from each other. I find the time of year effects the color. Some nurseries seem to rename established cultivars which make is difficult to ID them for sure. Many are so similar in coloring now, I find it impossible to ID them on sight anymore even with several side by side.
