Lysimachia, Dense-Flowered Loosestrife, Golden Globe Loosestrife 'Walkabout Sunset'

I have given away to friends and neighbors more cuttings of this ground cover than any other of the over-300 plant varieties and cultivar...Read Mores in my yard in Pahoa, HI. All this time I've been calling it Creeping Jennie, but a review of old purchases from 6 years ago confirmed that it's Walkabout Sunset (will post a photo soon). It does especially well growing on the bank below my lanai on the north side of the house in our lowland rainforest environment. In late spring it produces gorgeous yellow flowers that last midway through summer; year round it is bright yellow with pale green variegation. It creeps around my other plantings but has never climbed into adjacent shrubs. Very easy to trim back--I often ask a neighbor to come over and trim it so they can have the cuttings.
