The springs generate a microclimate for lots of precipitation through mist condensation and low dew points due to proximity to the springs. It's pretty tough getting your hands on these unless you own property that is within its range.

Give them monthly watering during 3-4 months of summer now. Believe the others died because I didn't water enough, but not sure. Would recommend weekly watering if no rain for first 3 yrs. to establish them.
Good green color and nice form. Overall shape is slightly rounded. Not for the faint-hearted, novice, or those w/o patience.
