They were highly ornamental once the peppers began to ripen to beautiful shades of orange and red, and I think they would be a gorgeous addition to an edible front yard garden. The peppers themselves gained some flavor once they ripened fully, but were bland and boring prior to that-- which is to be expected, but with many other peppers you can pick a little early and still get good flavor. For the size of the plant, this was a productive variety, and once they loaded up with fruit, I had to stake them. The peppers were a beautiful size and shape, and had some of the thickest walls I have seen on a pepper.
I give them a neutral rating because of their overall blandness in comparison to my expectation. I suspect that I just didn't have the right conditions this rainy, cool summer to really get the flavor many find in this variety. I intend to grow them again next year at the front of my ornamental garden border, where they will receive a ton of sun as well as better drainage, and can take their time ripening while surrounded by early summer flowers and foliage. I suggest growing more of these than you might with an average pepper, because while they are productive for their size, they are quite small in stature.

They start out yellow and are supposed to turn red, which I am waiting to happen. The jury is still out of them, but they look OK at this point.
