The ...Read Moreblooms start out yellow-orange, picking up red highlights as they open, and when blown fade to a pinkish-red. They are fully double. The plant is floriferous and fairly quick to repeat. I've seen a bit of blackspot, but not enough to require spraying. I overwinter the plants in an unheated garage attached to my house; I have lost a few plants during extremely cold winters, but most of the time they come through fine. I expect they'd be even hardier if they were planted in the ground. Fireworks makes a nice, colorful pot plant and would probably also be a nice as a border or mini-hedge.
