They w...Read Moreere in a farmers market row and well irrigated but they were so hot we couldn't sell them at market for their intended use. We ended up drying them and smoking them and making a chili powder that's so hot we only need a teaspoon in a whole pot of chili! I think maybe we weren't the only ones judging by the other comment, possible this is why they were discontinued?

Now it could be the soil, the extra rain, and or the weather that caused the extra heat in this one pepper I don't know. I
would be cautious however in trying this fruit. It was picked a little early ,as it had not quite changed colors yet either.

A 70 day mild hybrid chile with just a tiny hint of heat. Fruits are dark green 9 X 3/4 inch ripen to red.
