Topepo Ros...Read Moreso does well, although about half the plants planted in February do not survive the summer heat. Because of this short life I often get limited fruits from a plant. With a small amount of protection a Topepo Rosso plant that survived summer may also survive winter. Plants that survive winter will bear in January to March, when the plant generally gives up. The fruits of Topepo Rosso are small but tasty and do not sunscald.
