It's different from the Engli...Read Moresh lavenders in that it's hardier in the winter, and the flowers are not really good for drying or eating. Love those little wingy-thingy flower bracts. Beautiful color, and still puts out flowers in the fall, though not as much as earlier in the season.
Roots very easily for propagation. You could line your entire driveway in 3 years.

I bought 2 and they were beautiful and then after a week or so the foliage started losing it...Read More's vibrant green color (more a pale green now) and the flowers are not a vibrant color anymore either. I tried amending the soil but that didnt work either. I have also seen these planted at local nurseries and they looked the same as mine. Any suggestions for planting these in Austin?
