This is a native here in So. Oregon. I am lucky enough to have one growing on my fence line. Habitat: Dry slopes, ridge...Read Mores, mixed forest to 6000', chaparral, yellow pine forest. Deciduous, sprawling shrub. It has edible but bitter berries, which birds like. Hummingbirds like the flowers.
