They do poorly here in Las Vegas, NV. They dislike the cold as well as the dry extreme heat. The minimum temperature should be around 40F and maximum around 100F. In places like this, a green house is your best bet for optimum growth and bloom. If you don't have a green house, you'll have to bring them indoor during freezing weather or extreme heat.
I still can not get mine to bloom and I lost three out of ten plants already.
