Just a really nice rose. I'm tempted to cut all the buds for a vase, but I think I would rather just go outside! In her vicinity, I have Blue girl, Barbra Striesand, and Perfume Delight. They are all producing beautiful flowers, but still are suffering with Black spot as is usual here in So. Cal in early spring for many roses. Royal Highness is showing none of this. Last year I had to pen her in with plant rings because she outgrew her dedicated space as was prescribed by her horticultural information. Guessing I will have to do the same this year. She is one of my lightest colored roses along with Jardin de Bagatelle, Gruss an Aachen, and Francis Meiland. She isn't balling or browning in pretty much full sun. I have nothing but the highest regards and appreciation for this amazing rose.
