Chaenomeles, Flowering Quince 'Utamaro'

No problems whatsoever. Did not get taller than about 2' in my yard. Totally non-invasive, easily pruned. Gorgeous, lumi...Read Morenous scarlet orange, prolific, single blooms May. No thorns, no fruit. A nice, clean little bush. Likes some protection and a little bit of shade. No pests I've noticed. An undemanding shrub whose flowers I always look forward to seeing in early Spring. I have not had luck growing it from cuttings, however. I left my quince behind when we moved, failed at cuttings propagation, and can't find another one in any of the garden centers around here. This is on my plant trade wish-list, if anyone has one : )
