Wondering if there is a fertilizer that would help green them up in the spring> Miracid >> Any one had the same problem. Otherwise, they are gorgeous and pretty hardy here in zone 5A. They are a popular landscape plant, but if they get these yellow areas every winter, not a good investment unless you protect them from bitter cold winds. I have tried cutting out the "scalded" sections, and they do come back, but takes a few seasons!!
