I wondered how I would know when they are ripe, but there is a color change that makes it easy -- they are yellow-white when unripe, and gold when ripe.
We planted 2 plants last spring and in the fall we got more fruit than we expected from such tiny plants. We planted 2 more this year.

This cultivar cannot be grown any further north as it doesn't ripen early enough. It is a late autumn bearer. Fruits are lemon yellow.
