Also plan on a fair amount of time pruning suckers to get full production. Although I did not have time to pinch suckers thoroughly, I still got very good production from both plants. Each plant yielded approximately 300+ tomatoes. Plants had NO issues with BER.
Tomato size varied from a few marble sized to just smaller than golf ball size (majority of tomatoes this size). Tomatoes were uniform, round cherries. Fully red & slightly firm. Only a few tomatoes cracked, typically when I left on the vine much too long. These tomatoes had good hang time on the vine & on the shelf so you won't have to consume immediately upon ripening or harvest.
Taste? Average. Not sweet (as the name would lead you to believe) & frankly, very little taste at all. I would still rate them higher than store bought but not by much. *BUT, the limited taste may be related only to my plants. I grew in our fall season on a porch/balcony so they only averaged 4 hours a day of sun. With the limited amount of sun, the plants could only produce so much sugar & probably did not develop their full flavor potential.
Disease resistance was exceptional. I had only a few leaves that succumbed to early blight but after I pinched them, I had no other problems and the plant grew healthy replacement shoots EXTREMELY quickly. The plants were still growing & putting out blossoms when I had to toss them to make room for my spring plants.
Would I grow again? Definitely yes. But I would try during the spring/summer to see if increased hours of sun improve the flavor. When I have a chance to grow them again, I have very limited space & am trying a number of different cultivators, I'll update this post if I get different results.
