Part of it d...Read Moreied back over the winter and despite spraying it with an anti-deer spray its leaves were browsed during the summer. During the second winter in which we had unseasonably warm mid-winter periods plus some very cold snaps, it died. I might try it again in a different location in my yard.

As with all katsura: don't let this plant dry out. Regular moisture through droughty periods will be rewarded with healthy vigorous growth and long life.
