I was told to keep them watered, which I did and have been. Now August and they do not look any different from the day I bought them. They are in good soil and get good sun. I have fed them 3 times since buying. They still are just stems with leaves - no buds - and they are not growing much at all.

Though I had read it only flowers through June and July, the buds kept coming through most of August as well. I just clipped off the spent flowers and new ones kept coming. It is planted in a flowerbed on the east side of my home (1/2 day of sun) in predominately clay soil in zone 6. I look forward to seeing how it performs next year!
