I recently started researching this plant from my home/lab in Tampa Florida. I have designed my breeding program to select for the faste...Read Morest and largest growing individuals. So far...ONE YEAR from sprouting, only two individuals have acheived 1 cm in girth at the caudex and the tallest is 2cm! It's going to be a lifelong project I guess. I'll have crosses with much faster growing adenium as soon as these reach maturity...sometime next decade.

Looks like a miniature baobab tree on its native island off AFrica (Socotra). Probably not very cold hardy... and prone to rot? Very pricey seedlings!
