The spots become more visible when grown in semi shade or only exposed to direct sun for a couple of hours.
It has white flower and blooms for a long time.

As with all oxalis it is a good idea to let it have an annual resting period of to-tree months,
as this in the long run, prevents stress resulting in blooming and growth failure.

It is easily propagated by breaking the rhizomes in small pieces.
