After a week, I got another one. What makes this hosta special? I believe it is the color combination: bright yellow border on dark blue-green leaf. The rim is just wide enough to accentuate the leaf. As a sport of June, it carries the genes of good substance, steady growth, and exposure tolerance. The juvenile may have very narrow yellow border, but will grow wider when mature.

I just bought this hosta so don't know much about it yet. I do know that it was 2010 Hosta of the Year by the American Hosta Growers Assn.
