At any rate, it changes color depending on the temperature where it grows! The colder the climate, the more yellow they are. In more temperate areas they become bronze with green touches. It really wants to be in the sun to open. It will stay closed in shade or diffused light.
Bright Gem grows well under a maple tree here in my zone 2b garden in Manitoba, Canada.
I like ALL the batalinii cultivars, actually. They do well in my dry rock/clay front garden.
