This is a tropical tree, with very beautiful foliage. The leaves are medium to deep green on the upper page, and fuzzy and bronze on the ...Read Morelower one. Depending on how you look at it, you will see a dense green, or a dense bronze foliage. Either way, it´s really pretty.

It produces plum sized red fruits that are edible. I never proved it, but I believe that slightly unripen fruits may contain a sticky latex.
