I agree with Carpe_Diem. Osteospermum has certainly not been hardy for me in Zone 7a. It has been a lovely annual, however.

This is currently listed as cold-hardy to USDA zone 2a ??

Wouldn't zone 8 or 9 be more realistic for Osteospermum ?
