Overwintered well, only had to wrap the trunk with a blanket once, some of the leaves were damaged by frost. Growth started again in March, plant reaching over 20' and 3 new slips formed at base. Flowering began in late October 2003, too late to enjoy the warmth and rain of Central Fl Summer. Fruit did not fully mature and became infected with fungus during the winter. Cut it down Jan 2004. Three basal slips now (May 2004) between 10 - 15' high. Hope to have fruiting during warm season.
