I have two pine hyacinths that started growing of their own accord in my back yard. One is about 10 years old, the other is about 8 year...Read Mores old. The only thing I do is water them and keep the weeds away, otherwise they grow well all on their own. They both bloomed this year and I have several seeds that I would like plant. I haven't had good luck in the past propagating seeds or keeping plants that do start from seeds in pots. Does anyone know a good trick to keeping them going in pots?

But alas a neighbor or friend of theirs staying at their place sprayed the fence line with most of it coming over my way. Wiped out a three year old patch of happy dune sunflowers and the entire area where my Pine Hyacinth and hoped for seedlings are is wiped out.
I am trying to find out what they used and when if ever I can plant something there and find another pine hyacinth for my garden. About 30 feet from where it was growing I have had a plant come up and the leaves look like some the Pine Hyacinth has in the NPS booklet on it but they didn't bloom at all --- all this year.
