Unlike the other Camellias, this plant has pure yellow flowers. This is so uncommon that scientists are still trying to find out what gives it the yellow color, and how comes there isn´t other Camellias with it.
The flowers are cup shaped, with many yellow petals and dozens of stamens with orange anthers. This is a plant that is still trying to get popularity, and some hybrids are being made.
