It was the language of the Aztecs who dominated what is now central Mexico. Currently 1.5 million people speak Nahuatl, living in Central Mexico and El Salvador. The fruit is supposed to be very delicous. The cactus is a slow grower. Up to 15 - 20 ft high, the branching looks like a candelabra or a rack of antlers. (Unfortunately, my first attempt failed to germinate).
