I expected little bro to get off to a fast start this spring. It didn't. It sort of sulked, has only sent out minimal shoots, and has less foliage then when I bought it in October.
BUT, My experience with cane Begonia's is that some hate container life. And since little bro is of hybrid genes,it might even be variable to pot growth. I got one that hates it. I took it out of its pot..and the roots did look a little wiry. The rootball held together though.

2017,Large still..a reluctant bloomer. Not one yet.
