I discovered this plant at the Huntington Gardens recently, in Pasadena California. No mention on the label about its being variegated. ...Read More But it is a true variegated plant, having some variegation on all stems. And as with many variegated palms, the variegated leaf parts show some burning in the sun. Quite a striking plant. Cause of variegation? maybe a virus? This palm was not variegated that I know of 3-4 years ago.
