It is now about 4ft. tall and has produced the most spectacular white roses in 4 separate flushes now here in Ohio zone 5-6. Each flush has had at least 8 and as many as 14 huge blooms. I love the light fragrance and the dark green foliage. I have only had it planted for 1 1/2 years here in my condo garden and it put out blooms the first summer. Wonderful :)

For many years the rose recieved only minimal care from the elderly owner and a helpful neighbor, but it seems to be doing just fine. I'm no rose expert, so I've only done mild yearly prunings and reenforced the metal and wood support that the previous owner devised. I was worried that our recent harsh winters might cause some damage, but it's as prolific this year as it ever was.
The previous owners saved the original tag from this plant showing the date when it was planted: May 12, 1973. That makes it just two years younger than me, and a whole lot prettier. The price was $4.25. I'd say they got their money's worth.
