This form is much larger and more vigorous than the 'regular' A camperi (which looks more like A arborescens in habit and size of leaves). In fact this plant looks so unlike Aloe camperi, it is hard for me to believe the two are in any way related. Flowers in early to mid spring large flowers of red orange, turning to bright yellow from the bottom of the simple flower spike towards the top.
Very impressive in clumps covered in bloom. Must be a fast and hardy grower.
