The leaves have an atractive color pattern: they start bronze, almost red, with irregular white stripes. The bronze/red parts become dark green as the leaf gets old, making the contrast more evident.
I don´t know about flowers, but you can propagate it by dividing the rhyzome.
This plant likes partial shade, regular watering (keep the center of the foliage always full of water) and moderately high temperatures... I´m not sure about the kind of soil, since it´s said to be grown on cracks over rocks, but the specimen I saw in the botanical garden was growing on fiber. Anyway, this is a terrestrial plant, probably will like well drained soils with some organic matter. I don´t really know.
And this is an endangered species, be careful when buying one. Make sure the nursery is propagating by themselves the specimens they are selling.
