I did not hybridize this beautiful brug! A few cuttings were given to me 4 years ago, and I have had it blooming for 3 years now. One ove...Read Morerwintering in the ground with heavy mulch,
the other in a container inside for the winter.
Two friends also have had cuttings from this
brug resulting in the same lobed flowers.
Bloom has been very consistant except for the hottest weeks in summer, blooming well into November in my 7b zone (just south of Atlanta). Flower is very heavy, waxy and lasts 3-4 days, I've had blooms in a vase look fresh for over 30 hours. The wonderful scent is strong and minty in the evening and carries well. Most bugs don't seem to bother it except the cats. This is a very forgiving brug withstanding lack of constant water, heat, humidity and full sun.
Please note that I cannot comment on other growing zones, conditions, or even height, as they have not been experienced by me. It had never had a seedpod due to the fact that I have always deadheaded!
I'm sorry to say, there are no more cuttings available this fall.
