I have had great success with this. Make sure the stem is green (new growth) before cutting, and make the piece you are cutting isn't in bloom. It grows so high, it tries to climb over my neighbor's roof.

It has fleshy, shiny leaves, with abundant white sap, which is toxic. The flowers are beautiful, trumpet shaped, yellow, with yellow/orange tube. This flower looks pretty much like an Allamanda for it´s color, shape and size. The seed pods are thin, doubled, with oposite carpels, bearing small hairy seeds.
I don´t think any attempt on cultivating this plant was ever made, so I couldn´t tell if it would tolerate climatic conditions different from those of the natural habitat, so unless researches on this subjects are made, I don´t recomend getting seeds or plants of this species - they must have been collected ilegally from nature.
