The sweet fragrance of the blooms on this phlox freshen my patio area, as well as other areas of my yard. The magenta pink flowers can be counted on to provide outstanding color from summer to early fall and they attract hummingbirds and butterflies. They can be seen for quite a distance. Victoria Phlox have proven to be able to perform well in the 108 degree temperatures we experienced here this summer. Although they did wilt some, they perked back up without supplemental water when the temperatures cooled.
