The flowers give off a wonderful, slightly chocolate smell that does get more potent at night. It is watered once a week and water is allowed to stay in its saucer. It roots VERY easily in water. Its leaves are a deep, glossy green, flowers a blush pink, it has woody-looking stems and a milky sap.
