It is poisonous, so beware if you have pets or young children that might put the berries in their mouth. It grows well here with no attention, little water during dry periods.

I am glad I saw them because they rooted very easily in sandy soil, but watered daily by a timed spray "mist". They are cold tender and must be protected from all frost.
