Am posting a pic of my Zonal Geranium that I purchased this year. There was no info with it other than "Zonal Geranium", so I don't know ...Read Morewhat variety it is. What I can say is that it's an awesome plant, just huge & is half again the size of plant it is in this pic which was taken just a month ago. The leaves are green, edged in cream & the flowers are red. I purchased it in a standard white, plastic hanging basket & transplanted it into a large pot with good soil, cattle manure & I fertilize once a week with a water soluable fertilizer. It gets watered daily, twice daily if weather is very hot, humid and/or windy. It's so big, it would make a nice shrub in the ground & for a plant that was only $13.00, I am very pleased with it. I'm in a zone 6a/b garden & do my gardening in Southern Ontario. Would bring it in for the winter, but no place for it it's so huge!!
This plant does very well in a pot, even in our hot, dry summer climate. The bright color of the leaves compete with any flower blooming ...Read Morealongside it. It weathers the stay indoors over the winter well, too.
I also have a seedling plant with the same variegated leaves, but the flowers are orange.
Great leaf color, looks tri colors, green cream & some redish.
Nice to use as a summer annual, but it, like most Pelargoniums is not winter-hardy in Zone 7.
